The first annual ArCH Film festival presents a featured film preceded by a collection of juried shorts by Rice and UH architecture students, not necessarily about architecture! Tonight it’s VDL Research House: Richard Neutra’s Studio and Residence. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sullivan, Neutra immigrated to the US to be a part of what he perceived to be the future of architecture. Explore the “physiologically motivated design” of Richard Neutra’s studio and residence in L.A. from a firsthand perspective. $10 general admission, free for ArCH Members.
