On Saturday, October 11th the sidewalks along downtown San Antonio’s Houston St. are the canvas for the 2008 edition of Artpace’s Chalk It Up event. Teams of school kids community members and clubs get a 6×12 rectangle of real estate to decorate in this one day showcase of San Antonio’s creative talent, putting, as their website says, "the temporary in contemporary art." Cute. 10am-5pm FREE!
