Not only is ArtPace looking for a replacement for the recently departed Matthew Drutt, we hear the San Antonio Museum of Art is also on the hunt for a new director. The current leader, Marion Oettinger, Jr., keeps an extremely low profile. Here’s hoping they can find someone to take SAMA to the next level — it’s a young institution (founded in 1981), and it’s diamond in the rough just looking for some elbow grease and polishing.
