Clifford Owens, a New York-based photographer and performance artist, will speak at the Glassell School of Art’s Freed Auditorium on Friday, January 7 at 7pm. Owens creates photographs of art actions, with audience parrticipation to boot! He also restages historical work by other artists, and takes photographs of them. Presumably he then uses the photographs to make performances, but the press release doesn’t say.
