A Thousand Years of Feast at MFAH

Sunday, February 21, at 3pm, Dr. Francesca Leoni, Assistant Curator of arts of the Islamic world at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston will commemorate the thousand-year anniversary of the Shahnama ("Book of Kings"), the most important Persian epic and one of the longest poems ever, detailing the history of Persian kings from the dawn of time until the 7th century Islamic conquest, with a special talk which will probably last about an hour! Free!
