Black Swan Screen Printing and a mess of other commercial sponsors are presenting a polyglot event called "Merging Artists with Art" on Friday and Saturday Oct. 30 & 31 at 2101 Winter St. in Houston. $5 gets you into Saturday’s fashion show, and a Queen cover band. The Firday art show is free, but while you’re out that Friday, $69 could get you into Paul Horn’s Mad Monster Party at the new Deborah Colton Gallery, 2445 North Blvd., a pioneering effort to commodify one of Horn’s famous wing-dings.
