So the piece Ladder for Booker T. Washington by Martin Puryear has been extensively featured in the press about the Puryear show currently at MoMA (the piece is in the Ft. Worth Modern's collection and was beautifully installed in a stairwell there for some time — a photo of that installation is actually featured in a recent New Yorker ad and on the MoMA website, yay MAMFW). Anyhoo, now MAMFW has officially announced that they'll be hosting the show too, next February. I'm not…sure that I'm all that interested in Puryear's work, so it will be good to get to see a bunch of it in person.
