“This show looks at what has been and what could be at the University of Houston. It also seeks to acknowledge how many of these possibilities of better futures have been repressed. Almost a decade worth of labor from dozens of University of Houston students contributed to producing this art. Many of the students and community members who contributed to the work of this show are not artists by training, but have been driven to create out of the necessity of this historical moment.”
