June 27 - August 1, 2020
From the Gallery:
“Everywhere. Now. We are witnessing a new awakening, an increasing desire to improve our understanding of the challenges and injustices prevalent in societies across the globe. The artists in this gallery exhibition—Charis Ammon, Jamal Cyrus, Angela Fraleigh, Demetrius Oliver, Robyn O’Neil and Beth Secor—seek to confront the roadblocks of the past; their works draw attention to many of the issues of our day, including race, gender, identity and climate change. This presentation provides a quiet space where these issues can be contemplated and considered, away from the noise of the outside world. We invite you to make an appointment to visit the exhibition, which is on view June 23 to August 1, 2020. A portion of sales from this exhibition will be donated to Houston-based Restoring Justice.”
