A show of pieces by Houston artist Marcos Hernandez. The artist on his work: “Referencing Gauguin’s painting, I hope to add a new element to my work by introducing text and personal oral histories in order to ask the viewer the same questions that they may ask themselves at times considering the timeframe, politics, and history of how we came to be part of the cyclical movement of immigration to this country.”
