October 29 - December 3, 2011
Two Texas artists with contrasting views of landscape: Maratta’s long, skinny drawings of the Texas Horizon convey a surprising sense of space; in Randy Twaddle’s ink and coffee drawings washes of spilled coffee evoke tangled tree limbs, overlaid with black silhouettes of overhead wires, which Twaddle likens to a “trippy score that’s been drawn in the air by an anonymous composer.”
