The character and grandeur of the great Lone Star state: Jack Erwin’s plein-air depictions of rural courthouses, feed stores, small gas stations during the 1970s, Eugene Thurston’s mountain vistas and desert landscape near his El Paso home, and contemporary landscapist Noe Perez’s lush South Texas plains, hill country bluebonnets, and dramatic sunsets.
