Final Four visitors, your hotel occupantcy tax money is hard at work: among its grants to literary, musical and performing artists, a passel of visual artists and filmmakers scored grants from the Houston Arts Alliance: $7500 established artist grants went to Allison Hunter, Kevin Holden, Lisa Suzanne Qualls, Lisa Harris, Pablo Gimenez Zapiola, Michael Johnson, Catherine Colangelo, Jillian Conrad, Nathaniel Donnett, $3000 emerging artist grants went to Jenalia Moreno Gandy, Jeremy Choate, and Camella Clements.
