Workers at the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi were rocked by a massive explosion and fire at a beachfront motel directly across the bay Thursday morning. The fire, which left 5 injured at the motel, left the museum undamaged. Later this month, AMST will host an exhibition by hot LEGO-block artist Nathan Sawaya whose "The Art of Brick" show opens September 24 with a 26-foot long Tyrannosaurus Rex.
