A two-year collaboration between a team of artists and displaced families from Tanzania, Burma, and New Orleans living at the Wurzbach Manor apartment complex in North San Antonio. The the Day, Paw Moo, and Niyonkuru families have made photographs, and drawings, shot video, and recorded interviews about their resettlement in Texas in collaboration with members of Borderland Collective, artist Joey Fauerso, writer Jenny Browne, educator Ryan Sprott, and photographer Jason Reed. In conjunction with the exhibition, Artpace will facilitate art-making workshops with San Antonio area youth throughout the month of July at the Central Library through its ¿Cómo Vives? program.

Special event: July 9, 2011
On July 9th photographers Jason Reed and Ben Lamb will be at the Central Library providing free portraits to the public. Each participant will receive a print to take with them and all of the portraits from the day will be presented to the library archives.
