In this confused, busy world of the simulacrum, artists are turning more and more to the basic building blocks of art making to shine a light through the black vortex of consumerism and capitalism. David Row is such an explorer. He has spent 25 years developing a “stunning visual vocabulary derived from….line, composition and form” to create paintings “skirting on the edges of intense passion and the precision of technology.”
