From the TCU Moudy Gallery:
“Interpreting Renditions of Nature, Community, and Self presents a wide range of artworks—including sculptures, paintings, found objects, material translations of digital renderings, collage, schematics, photographs, and more. The exhibition presents a diverse selection of twenty-six works by TCU’s faculty artists that represent explorations of three spheres of human interaction: self, community, and nature. The artists’ visual displays of meaning in their own lives, communities, and environments investigate the impact of relationships on the human experience through a range of new and traditional media.
Online conversations with local art professionals and faculty artists will be presented during the exhibition. Each talk will explore one of the three themes of the exhibition: self, community, and nature. In conversation with the faculty artists, the guest moderators will provide insight into these contemporary artworks. Social media updates from the Art Galleries in January will provide details for these online events.”
