Graphic Design Intern

The Museum of Printing History seeks a talented and motivated graphic design student who would like to join our team and gain hands-on experience in both print and online design. The Museum has a permanent collection exhibition space, three galleries with rotating exhibitions, ongoing classes for children and adults, a membership program, and a facilities rental program, all presenting ample design needs and opportunities. Under the supervision of the curator, the graphic design intern will be responsible for creating postcards, newsletters, brochures for exhibitions and other programs, as well as updating content and design on the website. This internship is unpaid. In return for approximately 10 hours per week, the intern will not only develop projects for his/her portfolio, but will also gain valuable professional experience working in a museum setting. If interested, please send a resume/c.v. and a brief letter of interest to Keelin Burrows, museum curator, at kburrows@printingmuseum.org. If selected for an in person interview, be prepared to show samples of work and to provide 3 references.
