Exhibitions Intern
Dallas Contemporary seeks a career-minded Exhibitions Intern to assist and support in the following areas: exhibition logistics, artist research, public relations, and communications. Candidates should be graduate students studying an art related field. (Upperclassmen with gallery experience will be considered.)
The Exhibitions Internship is a collaborative, hands-on position that requires strong writing, research and communication skills, resourcefulness, and ability to multitask in a small nonprofit environment. Knowledge of contemporary art and/or experience working in a museum setting is desirable.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week
Compensation: Unpaid
Start date: January 2012 (flexible)
