Borderbend Collective, a Chicago based nonprofit arts organization is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Rachel Carson's seminal book, "Silent Spring," that many credit for inspiring the environmental revolution that emerged out of the 1960's.

They are currently accepting proposals for artwork that relates her work. Images can be submitted at info@borderbend.org.
