Cyber Dallas

“SPACE at Adolphus Tower presents Cyber Dallas, an exhibition curated by Imani Black and produced by FGIII Fine Art Productions, in collaboration with the Dallas College School of CAED (Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design), Downtown Dallas Inc., and Hoque Global.

The opening reception will take place on Friday evening April 11th, 2025 from 6-10 pm, and will also serve as the kick-off event for the Downtown Dallas Arts and Music Festival, set to open that weekend.

Designed to take part in the celebration of Dallas Arts Month, Cyber Dallas will be an immersive exhibition showcasing a sci-fi, futuristic, technology-driven vision of the city and the multi-cultural artists within. It will blend traditional and modern art to create an experience that transports visitors into digi-tech driven narratives that reimagine the city.

As Frankie Garcia, owner of FGIII Fine Art Productions says, “April is officially Dallas Arts Month and the SPACE at Adolphus Tower team wanted to curate a special celebration exhibition that would simultaneously launch our Downtown Dallas Arts & Music Festival. Imani Black’s ‘Cyber Dallas’ exhibition blends traditional and modern art to create an experience that transports visitors into digi-tech driven narratives that reimagine the city.”

Ahava Silkey-Jones, Vice Provost for the Dallas College School of Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design, adds, “We are thrilled to partner with FGIII Fine Art Productions to showcase a dynamic Dallas artist, Imani Black at SPACE. The objective of this exhibit represents the values of our partnership at SPACE as we strive to create an environment that is uplifting and creative that builds and elevates artists and community members.”

The CYBER DALLAS exhibition emerged from a personal project by curator Imani Black, with the title of ‘Imani’s Cyber Fantasy.’ This project explored an otherworldly, sci-fi perspective of Dallas. Imani Black is a Dallas-based curator and photographer.”
