Avi Avalos also known as Mr Piñata SA has been a cultural Icon of San Antonio Culture for over a decade. The San Antonio Express-News describes his work as  “A hit with just about everyone.” Mr Piñata SA is best described as an ongoing performance art piece embodied by Avi Avalos where he creates and wears a mariachi suit made entirely out of finely cut tissue paper just like a piñata.
