“The Briscoe Center’s Concert Poster Collection is a suite of art created for Texas artists and Lone Star State shows from the 1960s to the present day, including underground legends like the 13th Floor Elevators and stars like Willie Nelson. These wonderful pieces of art were a vital part of the iconography of Texas artists. THe posters in this exhibition cover the 1970s & ’80s.”
Featured artists: Bill Narum, Danny Garrett, Frank Kozik, Gilbert Shelton, Guy Juke, Jim Franklin, Ken Featherstone, Micael Priest, Richard Mather, and Rick Turner.
