May 28 - July 3, 2024
With a rich diversity of expression, the works presented in this group exhibition will date from the 1970s to the present day. In support of the exhibit, the Galleries at Dallas College, a part of the School of Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design, will present a panel discussion on the evening of June 20th, which looks at the topic, “What role does Dallas College play as a collecting institution in the greater Dallas and Texas community?”
Dallas College is a collecting institution with a permanent collection of over one thousand works by national, regional and student artists. Through paintings, photographs, prints and sculptural works, the permanent collection is a snapshot of the rich history of the vibrant Dallas Art scene. The galleries located at each of our seven main campuses are dedicated to presenting innovative exhibitions and programs with a focus on art from local and nationally recognized artists as well as work created by our art students and faculty.
