A Duo Exhibition by Clare Sepulveda and Carlos Villarreal in a creative dialogue on PreMarital Bliss and the transition
from couple to family. Weaving together prints and etchings (Sepulveda) with curated photography (Villarreal), the show
Examines notions of family life, gender dynamics and age gap relationships.
Clare Sepulveda Bio:
Clare Sepulveda is a Texas based artist, she will complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Studio Art in December 2023. Her work has been featured in previous shows at Produce Gallery and she has worked with the Art Museum of South Texas for four years, serving as the Museum Registrar since November 2022.
Carlos Villarreal Bio:
Carlos Israel Villarreal is a Chicano Fine Artist and Filmmaker whose credits span narrative, documentary, commercial, magazine and music video production. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, PBS and on MTV and his films have screened at festivals both nationally and internationally. He studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, holds a BA in Communication with an emphasis in Media Production and an MFA in Studio Art/Photography from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He currently teaches Art, Art History, Media and Graphic Design at Texas A&M University Kingsville. He is also a founder of Produce Goods, a design studio, production company and fashion house specializing in creative problem solving.”
