“Barry Whistler Gallery is pleased to present Drawings, a solo exhibition featuring works by gallery artist Andrea Rosenberg. In Drawings, Rosenberg presents her iconic floral abstractions with a recognized twist. Over half of the featured works on paper will be presented in a tondo format; a first for the Dallas based artist. The departure from the traditional rectangular format provides an alternative entry point for understanding Rosenberg’s hand. The suggested portals make for a viewing experience in which gestural compositions can be further realized as subconscious representation of flora. Drawings opens on Saturday, December 3rd, and runs through January 14th, 2023. An Opening reception for Drawings will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, from 1-3pm.”
