September 10 - 11, 2022
From the organizers:
“Randall Garrett will present a retrospective showing and sale of his artworks from the last twenty-five years in a space befitting such a hybrid project, The Gallery Formerly Known as Bill’s Junk, appropriately named for its role in hosting Bill Davenport’s former project at that location, Bill’s Junk.
The artist will show work from the various stages of his professional career, dating back to the mid 90s. Over the years, he has worked with a variety of materials, producing series such as his “Crosses” (reconfigured cruciform assemblage works), “Shine” (collaged moonshine bottles), “Single” and “B Sides” (mixed media works on vinyl records), “Track Eight” (mixed media works on eight track tapes), “Garage” (auto parts based work), “Performance Artifacts” (objects which have taken part in performance works), and “Arte Urbano” (street art inspired collage works), among others.
For this two day art show and sale, he will bring work from each of these series, to be presented in such a way that it presents as both an artist’s retrospective, and as a thrift-store style bargain collection. This art show and sale will coincide with the launch of the artist’s new Patreon page.
