From Intuitive Eye Annex:
“Come see paintings by Cody Ledvina, all created at a folding table in his parents’ spare room during this past year of his displacement back to Texas due to visa problems in the United Kingdom.
The show features paintings of a kind boss, a coffee shaking machine, little faces made of paper, a collection of United Nations wood samples, a duck qwuacking in different ways, travel host Rick Steves and a Mesopotamian kid from Uruk sharing a moment and presenting us with an accounting of professions, as well as a transcendental alien taking a 2:30 pm nap at a hotel, a strange fruit at a bar, a study of a Jan van Huysum flower, a painting about change, and a replica of his parents’ bookcase seemingly frozen in the year 2013. All for your contemplation and delight.
Cody Ledvina is currently the Archivist at The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art in Houston.
Viewing is also available by appointment. Please call or text Jay Wehnert at 713-703-3287″
