From PrintMatters Houston:
“PrintMatters Houston invites you to a panel discussion with Debra Barrera, Beth Secor, and Pat Masterson and moderated by Cathie Kayser. The discussion will be presented, Wednesday, April 27th, 6 – 8:30 pm, at The Printing Museum 1324 W. Clay Street, Houston, TX 77019, www.printingmuseum.org. Admission is free. In 2013 the Print Enthusiasts, led by Patrick Palmer, asked artists Debra Barrera and Beth Secor to collaborate with master printer Pat Masterson to produce prints for fundraising. This was to support PrintMatters in bringing IPCNY’s winter show to Art League Houston for PrintHouston 2013. Six of each of these prints have been found in our inventory and we want to share them and the story of how they came to be. The fine art collaboration between artist and master printer is a unique and fascinating journey. Come join us as Cathie Kayser asks questions that will reveal the process from both points of view.
