“Dan McCleary’s Living Wall will be on view online, on Instagram and in the gallery for the month of August 2020. Still life paintings made by the artist during quarantine in an ongoing process will be exhibited throughout with new paintings added to the wall over the weeks of the exhibition.
Dan McCleary (b. 1952) lives and works in Los Angeles. He has had 3 exhibitions at Texas Gallery. Well known for his figurative work as well as still life ‘portraits”, he is also the founder of a community endeavor, Art Division, that has had a great impact on the lives of many students in downtown Los Angeles, providing multi-layered continuing education in art, film, literature and history.
The gallery is open by appointment only for a maximum of (2) visitors at a time and masks are required. Hand sanitizer is provided, and the gallery is being cleaned regularly.
