Theaster Gates will speak about his sculptural practice.
During the first hour, Gates and Director of the Studio Museum in Harlem, Thelma Golden, will discuss his latest and upcoming projects.
In the second half, join Gates will discuss common misconceptions about his work with students and members of the Dallas arts and civic community. Seeking to engage in a true dialogue, Gates will address, inform, and answer questions about his practice.
