“About Halles Art Barn:
A new creative space has made its home in Round Top. Halles Art Barn finds its home in Halle 9, one of the numerous vendor spaces at beloved Round Top venue The Halles.
The new gallery, directed by Round Top Show Guide’s Candice Cowin, is split between a pair of artistic entities: Steve Wrubel Collection and Texas Artists Today. The former will showcase a permanent installation of the noted Dallas photographer’s bronc-bustin’ Rodeo series. The latter, curated by PaperCity executive editor Catherine D. Anspon, will rotate exhibitions every two months.

About the Artists:
Steve Wrubel at Steve Wrubel Collection: California-raised and “Texas-braised,” Steve Wrubel spent 25 years in fine art and commercial photography before shifting to a career capturing images of his passion: the American Rodeo. At his permanent exhibition, the Dallas photographer will showcase three series addressing the myth of the cowboy: “Rodeo,” “American Giants,” and “Cattle Drive.”
Angela Fabbri at Texas Artists Today: Texas Artists Today, curated by PaperCity’s Catherine D. Anspon, spotlights Houston painter Angela Fabbri. The contemporary neo-pop artist is known for her signature backwards text and electric color palettes. Fabbri will exhibit a variety of pieces specifically curated for the Round Top show, complete with ranch-inspired textures, Round Top-themed messages, and even neon light.

After the show ends, Halles Art Barn is open Fridays and Saturdays, 10 am – 5 pm, Friday, April 11 – Saturday, May 31.”
