July 20 - August 30, 2024
From Inman Gallery:
“Summer 1964, installed in our south gallery, showcases three decades of work by Texas Modernist Dorothy Antoinette “Toni” LaSelle – 40s, 50s, and 60s, all made during her summers in Provincetown. The exhibition exemplifies LaSelle’s formal experimentations from biomorphic Surrealism through geometric Abstraction. The selections celebrate her diversity of mediums in oil, charcoal, and watercolor, including both paintings and works on paper.
In the wake of Hurricane Beryl, amid the high heat, wind, and rain of late July, we welcome you to our space as a respite. We hope to see you soon.”
