From Dallas College Galleries:
“Dallas College Galleries is pleased to present: Process, a diverse exhibition of prints that have been left behind by former Cedar Valley printmaking students for present and future generations to enjoy. Dallas College is a collecting institution with a permanent collection of over one thousand works by national, regional and student artists. While the permanent collection at Cedar Valley Campus features works of all mediums, because of the rich history and tradition of printmaking on campus, along with the highly anticipated upcoming revival of the program, it is imperative in this moment that the summer permanent collection exhibition this year highlights some of the incredible prints created on campus.
This 44 print exhibition includes lithographs, collagraphs, woodblock prints, linocut prints, monoprints, Intaglio Etchings, and serigraphs—many of which will be displayed alongside the matrices they were printed on.
In anticipation of what’s to come with the forthcoming revival of Cedar Valley’s printmaking program, Process gives the audience a glimpse into the past to reflect on work made at Dallas College’s Cedar Valley Campus during the last 30 years.
The gallery team invites you to visit the Educational Gallery at Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus between Monday May 28th and Wednesday July 3rd to experience Process and learn a bit more about the rich history of the campus culture at Cedar Valley! Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 – 4:00 or by appointment.”
