14 artists from San Antonio get together to pay tribute to the arcade media icon- SPACE INVADERS!!! A large scale light installation illuminates the east and west facades while 13 pieces by the likes of Andy Benavides , Franco Mondini Ruiz , Ethel Shipton and Cruz Ortiz can be found in the lobby. Hilton Palacio Del Rio and SMART 501c3 team up to present this exhibition and fundraising event on March 2 benefiting SMART 501 C3 (a nonprofit that is dedicated to raising awareness of the developmental impact of the arts on San Antonio). Come support and check the lineup of events scheduled at the hotel throughout the month.
