Houston’s 13th Annual Citywide African-American Art Exhibition takes over the Rice University central library and the Texas Southern University Museum from Feb 12-March 16 with works by LaToya Allen, Mac Bishop, Valerie Burkes, Jade Cooper, Noel Dean, Cedric Franklin, Betty Harris, Julian Joseph Kyle, Robert McShan, Dawn Okoro, Christian Perkins, Anthony Suber, Shirlette Thompson, and Maya Watson. $500, $200 and $100 prized will be awarded on Saturday the 14th by Five-A President emeritus Patricia Gregory, Core Fellows Rose Oluronke, and Lauren Kelly.
