Crossover | Fall Design Expo

“The Dallas College School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design, in collaboration with FGIII Fine Art Productions, and sponsored by Hoque Global and Downtown Dallas, Inc., presents a group exhibition and activation of our downtown space featuring works by students and faculty from our Design disciplines, including both academic transfer and workforce programs.

Set to take place on the evening of September 26th, the event will include recent examples of creative work from the following program areas at Dallas College:

Architecture

Digital Art and Design

Fashion Design

Fashion Marketing

Interior Design

The latest in fashion design, digital imaging and animation, architectural and interior design concepts, sketches, and planning by the talented students from our Design disciplines will all be featured. These works were recently featured in our 1st annual Design Week showcase and fashion show held last April. For next year’s Design Week showcase, please save the date for Design Week 2025 April 21st-24th.

The event will also mark the one-year anniversary of the newly renamed SPACE at Adolphus Tower, which was conceived of as a way to connect the creative offerings of the Dallas College School of CAED (Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design) with the greater Dallas community.

Over the last year, the Dallas College Gallery Program has worked in collaboration with FGIII Fine Art Productions to bring half a dozen art exhibitions into the space, each one attended by hundreds of eager patrons.

Works shown have ranged from photography to painting, experimental media, fashion runway shows, performance and artist talks, all featuring student and faculty artists from Dallas College, paired with artists from the Dallas community who are represented by Frankie Garcia and FGIII Fine Art Productions.

In addition to the event on the evening of September 26th, the exhibition will be on view from September 20 – October 18 with gallery hours of Thursday – Friday 4-7 pm and weekends by appointment.
