March 1 - 31, 2019
A show of works by Joseph Wooten. The artist on his work: “My work exists in the arena of the whimsical and bizarre. And that’s where I feel most comfortable. Repetitively dying and cutting paper, a process which I find meditative, allows me to draw from an amalgamation of things around me. Imagery, literature, experiences, feelings, music, and conversations merge into ideas. This leads me to produce imagery that embraces a certain ephemeral area of my mind.”
