join us for a conversation with artist bianca bondi and exhibition curator emily edwards regarding the making of bianca bondi: a preservation method. bondi will discuss her 3-week residency in dallas, the local sites she visited for inspiration, and the context behind her multisensory installation.
bianca bondi’s immersive, multi-sensory installation of a post-apocalyptic landscape takes texas’s environmental history as its orgin, compelling visitors to revist forgotten legislation in order to recenter highly attainable goals within political discourse. bianca bondi: a preservation method is curated by dallas contemporary’s associate curator, emily edwards.
bianca bondi: a preservation method is made possible with lead support from etant donnés contemporary art, a program of villa albertine, with generous support from carol + frank riddick, and community partnership from sweet pass sculpturepark, a non-profit arts organization which provides space and support for experimental and large-scale outdoor works by a diverse set of contemporary voices.
