$5 Video: A Juried Exhibition
Calling for artist to submit video art pieces, five minutes in length or less. All genres of video art are welcome to apply. Selected works will be divided into two, one month shows at LHUCA in January and February 2024.
Juror: Lauren Michelle Peterson
Lauren Michelle Peterson is an artist and educator currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the School of Art at Texas Tech University. Her research focuses on the mutual formations of human-nonhuman ecologies and her artistic practices include drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. She has held fellowships and attended residencies with the Aspen Art Museum, Vermont Studio Center, Hambidge Center, Kimmel Harding Nelson Center, and the Jentel Foundation. Her work has been exhibited at the Spartanburg Art Museum, The GAIA Center, and the Zuckerman Museum. Recent curatorial projects include Remote Residue at the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art with Doppler Projects. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the High Museum of Art and Goya Contemporary.

- Artist of all ages and locations welcome to apply.
- Entry fee: $5 per entry
