Curated by @CameronBlaylock and @StevenJThomson, #notmethough offers a look into the creative possibilities of social media. At Curation Myth Ministries, in artist Emily Sloan’s space at Box 13 artspace in Houston. By my reckoning, Sloan will be finishing up her BIG fat group wedding performance at 14 Pews just in time to shuck her robes and hightail it on over to Box 13 for the opening. The hardest working artist in Houston! Exhibiting artists include: Melinda Ainsworth, Man Bartlett, Logan Sebastian Beck, Bexar, Douglas Cason As Zepeda, Damien Hirst, Jonatan Lopez, Ray Ogar, Brian Piana, @t_h_e_y, @CorpzFlowrLois. Guests are requested to begin tweeting @t_h_e_y immediately. Works will be presented in any format (paper, canvas, performance, projection, etc.), but all employ one of six social media modules: Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, YouTube/Vimeo, Chatroulette.
