From Adams Galleries:
“Celebrated photographer Keven Vandivier will share selected works from his four decades-the-making collection of photographic images. The show includes photographs printed in the rare and hard-to-find formats of Carbon Transfer and Platinum Palladium and the saturated format of Dye-Infused Metal.
Featuring landscapes, city scenes, and animals from Texas and beyond, Kevin will attend to share stories from behind the lens while working on assignments for notable clients, including the National Geographic Society, Life Magazine, Newsweek, Citgo Oil, IBM, Orvis, and others.
In the early 1980s, Vandivier held a staff photographer position at The Dallas Times Herald, where he further honed his skills and captured compelling stories. His career continued to evolve, and in the mid-2000s, he took on the role of Photography Editor for Texas Highways Magazine, contributing to the publication’s visual storytelling.
In 2019, Kevin Vandivier transitioned into a new career phase, officially retiring from assignment photography to focus on capturing the images that resonate with his artistic vision. His fine art photography primarily revolves around two main themes: landscapes and wildlife and poignant and unique moments of human life.”
