“I’m drawn to capture unique places. When it is time to photograph I don’t have time to think just to react. It might be a well-preserved building or a forgotten structure with nothing to spark a bit of curiosity, but on closer scrutiny, it becomes something quite intriguing that haunts me, like the concept of time or the sense of existence. I feel that this unintentional tension is a very convincing representation of a dynamic equilibrium between me, the spectator and that specific “on-site” confrontation which I accept with my stoic nature.”
