From Tarrant County Community College:
“Resetting the Pace explores the joys and trappings of domestic life, its consumption habits and the pursuit of a flexible mind. Dale uses painting as preliminary world building, examining complex social structures and places. Her maximalist ecosystems reflect vast natural beauty and intimate settings like patios or backyards, hinting at relationships, loneliness, and the gap between ambitions and resources. Smaller works in oil, digital works and mixed media installation add depth, depicting unfinished projects, consumption and daydreams. These pieces reflect on home life, turning the mundane into something grand to address feelings of stagnation and overwhelm.
Aubree Dale is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Fort Worth, TX. Solo and group exhibitions include locations throughout Texas, most recently at the The Fort Worth Art Center, the 2nd Floor Gallery at the Central Austin Public Library, Contra Common and the Texas Vignette Art Fair. She is an Art Tooth Artists In Business 2023 Recipient and has created several public murals throughout the state. In 2010, she earned a BFA in Painting and Drawing from The University of North Texas and went on to study Architectural & Ornamental Welding at Austin Community College. www.aubreedale.com”
