“Cultural Center “Our Texas” proudly presents “Journey Through Color”, art exhibition showcasing oil pastel works of locally acclaimed artist Irina Zamotorina. The exhibition still open until August 25, 2024. All works of art will be for sale.
Known for her mastery of the oil pastel technique, Irina brings a unique vision to life on paper, weaving together rich textures and colors to create compositions that are as mesmerizing as they are thought-provoking. From lush, dreamlike landscapes to bold still lives, full of light and multicolored harmony, each artwork invites viewers to lose themselves in a symphony of color and form.
Most landscapes depict the beauty of Texas nature – the expanses of the prairies, the power weather phenomena, the charm of the forested areas of our neighborhoods.
Irina Zamotorina, born and raised on the Volga, in the city of Saratov, studied Russian literature and History of Art at Saratov State University. Took drawing and painting classes at PRIMA MATERIA ART INSTITUTE in San Diego, CA, watercolor classes with CONSTANCE PAUL in Cypress,TX, ceramics and painting classes in Lone Star College in Texas, listened to numerous lectures on art history. Participant of ART SHOW in YELLOW DOOR ARTISTS COMMUNITY in Cypress TX.
