June 14 - July 25, 2024
From Hinovations Art Gallery:
“Hinovations Art Gallery proudly announces the eagerly awaited opening of its latest
group exhibition, "Shadow Work of a Fugue". The exhibition promises to captivate art enthusiasts with a
mesmerizing blend of talent, creativity, and exploration. The gallery invites the public to join the
celebration at the exhibition's reception, scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM,
hosted at Hinovations Art Gallery, located at 1009 Laurel Ave in McAllen, Texas.
"Shadow Work of a Fugue" marks a significant milestone for Hinovations Art Gallery as it not only
welcomes back esteemed artist Carlos Ochoa but also introduces the fresh perspectives of new artists
Gina Otvos, Jacob Pena, and Erick Salazar to its valued space.
The collection primarily deals with abstract and nonrepresentational art. Some works also incorporate
elements found in surrealism, as all of these styles commonly contain dream-like sentiments. The
decision of what to create or leave behind is entirely up to the artist. Abstract art can function as a
filtered lens, sometimes bringing things into focus and other times distorting them beyond recognition.
Nonrepresentational art can reduce the work into simple lines, colors, and shapes, all while expressing
various feelings and emotions. To abandon the figure and the world around us can be very liberating, as
reference and inspiration now come internally from the artist.
Attendees can expect an evening of artistic immersion, where they can engage with the artists, gain
insights into their creative processes, and experience firsthand the depth and beauty of their works.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a truly extraordinary artistic journey. Join us at Hinovations Art
Gallery on June 14th as we embark on an exploration of the "Shadow Work of a Fugue".
The artwork will remain on display from June 14 to July 25, 2024. Gallery summer hours of operation are
Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or by appointment. For more information, please contact
