April 5 - June 1, 2024
From LHUCA:
“Amy Werntz aims to capture ordinary moments in people’s daily lives, seemingly insignificant moments that, at the end of the day are likely forgotten yet make up the majority of our lives. She paints portraits of aging individuals to hopefully gain an emotion from the viewer. Whether that emotion invokes thouughts of beauty, strength, loneliness, contemplation is what draw her to her subjects. Werntz’s artwork will be in the Martin McDonald Gallery from April 5 through June 1, 2024.”
