From Gallery 440:
“Tatara Siegel, a Fort Worth based artist, brings the playfulness of the clouds to Gallery 440. The exhibition consists of 3-dimensional glass clouds, 2-dimensional glass clouds, and a series of overlapping 2-dimensional prints that were inspired by the colors and shapes that make up sunrises, sunsets and storms.
Tatara Siegel is a versatile artist known for her work in 3D forms, primarily in glass and ceramics. With a dual focus on design and narrative, she finds a harmonious balance in her artistic approach. She holds a B.A. in Glass and Ceramics with a minor in Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as an M.F.A. in Glass from Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Craft. She currently works and resides in Fort Worth, TX. Follow Tatara @tataraanne.
The show opening happens during Near Southside’s popular @thirdthursdayftw art crawl next THURSDAY, July 20, 5-8 pm. Also, check out the other local venues open at the same time in Near Southside, mostly walking distance around South Main Village.”
