From Bolm Arts:
“Join Bolm Arts for Felipe Gomez’s first solo exhibition—Staying Alive. An exploration of wood, oil and acrylic paint. This body of work explores the depth and multiple facets of individuals as divine—through layers, and hue. Works that celebrate the powerful and resilient spirit of the latino, indigenous and Afro-latino Communities in the modern world.
Felipe Gomez is a versatile artist with a passion for creating beautiful and thought-provoking works of art. Drawing inspiration from nature and technology, Felipe’s art is characterized by its vivid hue transitions, intricate details, and fantastical imagery. His art explores the intersection of the natural world and the human experience, incorporating themes of surrealism, realism, and geometric lines to create works that are both visually striking and conceptually engaging.
This exhibition will include works that layer ⅛” slabs of wood with intricate patterns as well as incorporating oil and acrylic painting. Felipe creates imaginative and detailed works, in many mediums and disciplines, that are both aesthetically pleasing and thought provoking. He is committed to promoting healing for the world and the human soul, using his art to raise awareness about issues of oppression, highlight inner beauty and authenticity, and promote environmental consciousness.
