“Toomas Kuusing is a printmaker, painter, and performance artist residing in Voru, Estonia. Kuusing specializes in hypnotic and masterfully carved linocut prints – allegorical vignettes that are satirical, darkly humorous, and politically rebellious. The public is invited to attend the opening reception during ArtWalk on Friday, September 2, from 5:30 to 10 pm. The exhibition will conclude with a closing reception on October 7th. 5:30 to 10 pm.
Eesti Beast is an Oso Bay Biennial XXII exhibition. The Oso Bay Biennial is an event hosted every two years by a rotation of studio art and graphic design disciplines at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. This year once again features the vast realm of printmaking. Exhibitions and events will be held city-wide. The symposium will include lectures, workshops, and the Inkslinger’s Ball / Weird Corpus Zinefest October 5th – 8th.
